As you know without proper clothing, even an experienced beekeeper can be attacked by bees. No one likes being stung on the face, especially near such sensitive parts as the nose and eyes, and therefore wearing a bee veil is essential when honey bees are being handled. A beekeeping hat with a mesh on the face is equipped with an additional hoop that keeps the mesh at the right distance from the face. A great convenience is the possibility of removing the mesh from the face part without removing the hat.
