HiveAlive - strengthening and immunity of bee families (100 ml)

Unique and natural ingredients:

HiveAlive ™ contains only natural, active ingredients, scientifically selected for maximum effectiveness, 
such as OceaShield ™ (a unique combination of Irish Algae extract), 
a bioactive compound internationally recognized as having antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties. 
OceaShield ™ provides a rich and nourishing food source to support the gut health of bees. 
The other active ingredients are thymol and palmetto.

Stronger, more productive colonies:

International tests show that regular use of HiveAlive ™ creates much stronger bee colonies than colonies where 
HiveAlive ™ was not used. The tests were conducted at the Hellenic Institute of Apiculture in Greece 
(November 2012 - June 2014) in which 20 bee colonies treated with HiveAlive ™ and 20 colonies treated without HiveAlive ™ 
were compared. When HiveAlive ™ was used twice a year, the tests showed no losses in winter, 
showed less nosema and an almost doubling (89%) of the colony size. 
Effectiveness confirmed by numerous studies conducted by Apiculture Institutes in Ireland, 
Greece, Italy, France, the Czech Republic (studies published in the Journal of Apicultural Research - June 2016 and
at www.advancescience.com).

Instructions for use:

To help your bees survive the winter: Add HiveAliveTM to all of the syrup at the end of the honey harvest 
when the collars are removed. 
The proportions are 2.5 ml of HiveAliveTM per liter of syrup. 
The recommended amount of syrup for one bee colony is a minimum of 4 liters (i.e. 10 ml of HiveAliveTM for one colony). 
When preparing the dough, you can also add HiveAliveTM. The maximum temperature is 50ºC.

To strengthen bee colonies in spring: Give 1: 1 syrup by adding 2.5 ml of HiveAliveTM per liter of syrup.
Other uses of HiveAliveTM: To revive ailing, weak or underfed bees, spray / pour 300 ml of HiveAliveTM sugar 
syrup in a maximum ratio of 1: 100 (i.e. 1 ml of HiveAliveTM per 100 ml of syrup once a week for 
three consecutive weeks to cover the entire cycle developmental).

To enrich the protein dough: HiveAliveTM can be added to the protein dough up to 10 ml per kilogram of dough.
For a cleaner hive and a healthier bee colony: Spray the entire hive with active syrup before and after winter. 
Ideally once a week for 3 weeks to cover the entire development cycle.

To revive the old generation: If the bees are slowly pulling out the old generation, 
spread the active syrup to increase attractiveness.

To store any remaining syrup: Add HiveAliveTM to prevent old syrup from spoiling.

To introduce a new queen: Spray / pour active syrup into the hive to increase acceptance of the new queen.
In order to minimize the shock, the introduction of medicinal preparations based on thymol: 
Dipping / spraying / feeding HiveAliveTM before administering thymol-based preparations reduces the stress of 
bees before administering these preparations by making them accustomed to the presence of thymol in the 
hive beforehand.
For additional benefits, you can feed HiveAliveTM to your colonies at any time, 
up to two weeks before inserting the collars.

How much HiveAliveTM should I give?

Based on scientific field tests carried out with HiveAliveTM, the recommended minimum amount is 10 ml of 
HiveAliveTM per colony (for 4 liters of syrup).

For the best effect, it is best to use the product within 6 months of opening the package.
