Secura 3000 CHEM mask - a protective silicone half mask can be used for fumigation with apivarol, protects min. against vapors of organic acids.

Complete set ready to use. The SECURA 3100 half mask, when completed with appropriate purifying elements, is protective equipment for the respiratory system against harmful substances in the form of: aerosols (dusts, fumes, mists), vapors and gases, and both of these forms together 

The set is assembled, ready to use. Consists of:

  • Secura 3000 silicone half mask - 1pcs.
  • Combined filters A2P3 - 2 pcs.
  • The set is equipped with filters of the GAS FILTER 3031 A2 type - The filters protect against gases and vapors of organic substances whose boiling point is higher than 65°C. Example substances, before which are protected by the following absorbers: alcohols, aldehydes, esters, ethers, ketones, organic acids, styrene at a total volumetric concentration not exceeding 0.5% (class 2 absorbers).
  • Aerosol covers - 2 pcs. SECAIR 3000.03 P3 R filters, when combined with a two-filter half-mask or mask, protect the respiratory system against aerosols of solid particles (dusts, fumes) and liquid particles (mists), provided that the concentration of the dispersed phase does not exceed 30 x TLV (Highest Allowable Concentration).

Application:

During fumigation with apivarol. To protect the respiratory system against plant protection products in varnishing and during plant spraying. The use of applied aerosol covers protects combined filters against large drops of liquid, extending their life. Particularly useful when aerosol concentrations are high.

Usage Data:

  • The color may be different from the picture.
  • The half masks have an additional adjustment on the straps that keep the mask properly positioned against the face.

Limitations: 

The half mask does not protect against oxygen deficiency (below 17%). It is forbidden to use half masks in channels, wells, tanks and other closed (non-ventilated) spaces of small volume. The half mask should not be used when the concentration of toxic substances is unknown or directly life-threatening, and when toxic substances are poorly perceptible by smell.
