Colloquially known as bee glue, i.e. propolis can be obtained using special grids that are placed directly on the frames, under the roof. The excluder has special holes that the bees cover in propolis. One of the sides of the excluder is grooved, it is used to put the grille on the frames. After plastering the grating, take it out of the hive and put it in the freezer, then the propolis is crumbled into it. Propolis obtained in this way is very clean.

In order to increase the production of propolis, we use special crates, placed on the body under the roof, with the grooved part facing down. After filling the grate with propolis, put it in the freezer, and then crumble the propolis. Depending on the season and the honey base, we can obtain up to 50 g of propolis per week.
