Protective suit for wasp and hornet nest removal

(including Asian Hornets)

A professional protective suit designed to work in the most demanding terrain conditions, such as removing and neutralizing stinging insects. It combines high mechanical resistance with an ergonomic design, providing the user with safety, mobility and comfort during long-term activities.

It is a solution dedicated to emergency services, companies and all specialists involved in the wasp and hornet removal – including species with high penetration power, such as the Asian hornet.

Key objectives:

The suit is designed for:

• intervention work in the removal and neutralization of wasp and hornet – including Asian hornets,
• field activities requiring increased protection against mechanical hazards,
• also by professional services and specialized teams.

It is designed to reduce the risk of material penetration by sharp elements such as insect stings, while maintaining high freedom of movement.

Lightweight and highly comfortable to wear, it is especially suited for hot weather and the toughest working conditions.

Design and materials:

The suit uses a multi-layer material structure to form an effective protective barrier:

• Outer fabric: 60% cotton/40% polyester, approx. 240-250 g/m²
• Reinforcements (knees, elbows): 100% cotton, 380 g/m²
• Filling and lining: 100% polyester, quilted, 200 g/m²

The materials used ensure:

• high resistance to mechanical damage,
• durability in intensive use,
• adequate breathability and comfort of work,

Additional reinforcements in the most exposed areas significantly increase the service life of the product.

Mechanical Protection Parameters:

Material properties confirmed by tests in accordance with EN 388:

• Abrasion resistance: 100 ≤ N < 500 cycles
• Blade Cut Resistance: Index 1.28
• Tear resistance: 29.88 N
• Puncture resistance: 45.06 N
• Cut resistance (TDM): 3.7 N

Additionally:

• Seam strength: 244 N (EN ISO 13935-2)
• Needle penetration resistance: 1.0 N (ASTM F2878)

These parameters confirm the material's ability to reduce the effects of contact with sharp elements and mechanical damage.

Ergonomics and functionality:

• reinforced knees and elbows for added durability.

The suit retains its protective properties when used and maintained correctly.

Full set includes:

• Suit: compliant with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and based on the application of standards: EN ISO 13688:2013 EN ISO 13688:2013/A1:2021 PPE CAT. II certified: 26/09745/00/0161/B
• Helmet and face shield: PPE meets the requirements of EN 397:2012+A1:2012, EN 50365:2002, EN 166:2001, EN 170:2002 and GS-ET-29:2019-06.
• Gloves: compliant with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and based on the application of standards: EN 388:2016+A1:2018, EN ISO 374-1:2016+A1:2018 Type B, EN ISO 374-5:2016 and EN ISO 21420:2020.

Product sewn in Poland – quality control at every stage of production.

Safety of use

• materials free of harmful and allergenic substances,
• pH in the range of 3.5–9.5,
• no azo dyes in accordance with EU requirements,
• no elements that could cause injury

Please note:

• The suit protects your body – make sure to check all the fasteners, systematically check the condition of the suit to detect any damage.
• For full protection, use a suit with additional personal protective equipment.
• No PPE can guarantee complete protection in all conditions – effectiveness depends on proper use and fit.

Maintance and Durability:

• Washing up to 60°C,
• Drying at low temperature,
• Expected service life: up to 10 years (with proper operation).

Gloves are included with the suit in the following sizes:

• for sizes S and M – gloves in size M/8,
• for sizes L and XL – gloves in size L/9,
• for sizes XXL and XXXL – gloves in size XL/10.
